Big Android BBQ Getting Closer – Get Ready!

Big Android BBQ Getting Closer – Get Ready!

It looks like the grills are being cleaned, charcoal is being purchased, and tons of meat (and tofu) is getting seasoned for the upcoming Big Android BBQ. This event will take place in October as you all know, but the main reason for us to be posting about this (aside from the fact that we will be there) is the fact that the Saturday sessions have officially been posted in the event’s website. These sessions will come both from the hosting sites as well as the sponsors and will include talks about Android development for all levels. So, if you were waiting for some expert advise on how to get started on rom cooking or even coding your next great app, this is your time for your questions to be heard (and answered) live by the experts themselves.

Some of the events will include:

  • Sphero will be there, and people can play with their balls!  (you can reword that as you like)
  • Fossil will be bringing their “Meta-Watch”, and talking about how people can dev for it.
  • HTC and Moto-Mobile will be both be doing “Dev 101″ sessions, to help people get started as developers.
  • XDA will be hosting sessions on beginning and advanced android development.
Other big players like some people from CM will be there as well. So, if you don’t have your tickets yet and are planning to attend, make sure that you get your ducks in a row as seats will go quick.
If you would like to find more information about the remaining presentations as well as other bits of information such as hotels, ways to get there, etc, make sure that you visit the official website.
